WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT

Personal data means any information that can be used to identify directly or indirectly a specific individual.

We may collect personal data for two sources on our website:

Personal data we collect using cookies when you visit our site and agree to allow these cookies:

A cookie is a small text file stored on your computer that is used to remember certain information. This might include advertising, website analysis, IP addresses and most commonly login systems and shopping baskets. Our site uses WordPress, and this has its own cookies used for a login system. They also help to keep the site secure.

Personal data you give us directly through our contact options:

There are several options on our site to give us information so that we can contact you about our products. The data asked for is Name, Email, Phone Number, Company and Job Title, however, only the Name and Email fields are mandatory, although the more information you give us the better we can help you with our product. This information is emailed from the website directly to us and added to our CRM application so that we can answer your question or follow up on your sales enquiry.

HOW WE USE PERSONAL INFO

Revive collects, processes and discloses your personal data for only specific and limited purposes. For example, to process your enquiry, to monitor and develop the functionality of our website.

We collect, process and disclose your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To process and answer your enquiries, questions or requests.
  • For internal research to improve and monitor the functionality of our website.
  • What legal basis do we have for processing your personal data?
  • Under the GDPR we process this data under the legal grounds of:

Consent (for the details voluntarily submitted by visitors to the page or where a visitor has clicked to accept cookies)

The consent to hold and process the data is supplied by individuals is inherent in their using the websites ‘contact’ form, in the voluntary act of providing and submitting their data and clicking the ‘Allow Cookies’ button. Revive has, due to its business interests, a need to ensure its website is secure, optimally designed and used and a legitimate interest in collecting and, requirement to process, the activity data of those who access the site.

WHEN DO WE SHARE PERSONAL INFO

The data collected from Revive’s website is not ‘shared’ with any 3rd parties. While some 3rd party systems (such as google analytics or Revives CRM) may hold this data it is not shared with these parties, they have no control or rights over this data and Revive remains the sole Controller of this data at all times, with 3rd parties being unable to even view this data.

Revive would not reveal this data without a legal warrant or detailed proof of the identity of the person asking for the data in the case of a Subject Access Request.

WHERE WE STORE PERSONAL DATA

Cookie collected data taken from interactions with Revive’s website is stored in google analytics. While this data may well be stored outside the European Economic Area (EEA), most likely in the USA, Google Analytics, as a 3rd party supplier of Revive, have been carefully vetted, not only are they ISO27001 certified, providing a proven and very high standard of information security, they also comply with the US Privacy Policy, which ensures they follow the personal data protection requirements of the EEA in the data they handle. This is covered under their contractual obligations to Revive.

Personal data submitted to Revive through the website is stored in our CRM, this is another company that have gone through our supplier evaluation process. While this data may well be stored outside the European Economic Area (EEA), most likely in the USA, our 3rd party CRM supplier is hosted in AWS (an industry leader in security), providing a proven and very high standard of information security, they also comply with the US Privacy Policy, which ensures they follow the personal data protection requirements of the EEA in the data they handle. This is covered under their contractual obligations to Revive. This data is kept until the person becomes a customer, or for five years, whichever happens first.

HOW WE SECURE PERSONAL DATA

Revive has policies and processes in place:

  • to protect data against accidental loss through process, regular checks and tested backup policies.
  • to prevent unauthorised access, use, destruction or disclosure through labelling all personal data as confidential and handling accordingly, ensuring access and
  • to ensure business continuity and disaster recovery to cover access and emergency transfer of data if required
  • to restrict access to personal information Revive works with the concept of the least access possible with check and audits in place that are regularly reviewed
  • to train employees and contractors on data security Revive carries out regular information security training sessions
  • to manage third party risks, through use of contracts and security reviews
  • How long do we keep your personal data for?
  • Data about website usage is kept for several years so that trends and usage can be assessed over long periods of time.

Personal data submitted through Revive’s website is kept until the individual either becomes a customer, or their request/question has been processed or five years has elapsed whichever is sooner.

All data is carefully deleted and overwritten with Revive’s and their 3rd party suppliers securely destroying all hardware after use.

YOUR RIGHTS IN RELATION TO PERSONAL DATA

Revive complies with the GDPR and respects the right of data subjects to access and control their personal data. Should an individual wish to make a subject access request or want data changed or deleted, or wish to withdraw consent they can do so by contact Revive at:

Requests will be responded to within 30 days.

Identity verification may apply with a form being filled in and ID being required (usually a copy of Drives Licence or Passport, which will be immediately and securely destroyed once identification has been made.

PROCESSING OF CHILDREN’S DATA

Revive does not knowingly market to children, nor knowingly store their data. Should you become aware that a child has contacted Revive through our website, please contact the Head of Security and Compliance at: information.security@revivemanagement.com 

LINKING TO OTHER WEBSITES/THIRD PARTY CONTENT

For convenience, Revive offers a link for customers to their Genesys portal on their website, login details are required to access this information.

Revive takes no responsibility for the content or information contained in the Genesys portal or any site linked to it.
